From Panama City, you can reach Taboga Island in Under 1 Hour by:
+ Calypso Ferry.
Amador Causeway by the Smithsonian Research Center, our guests enjoy the Calypso, saying it is like a mini cruise by the Canal. The trip takes just one relaxing hour or less.

+ National Tours Ferry. Balboa Yacht Club on Amador Causeway by Country Suites Hotel, it is a smaller faster boat, 30 minutes. Leaves 8 am / 3 pm from Panama, returns 9 am / 4 pm from Taboga daily.

+ Private local boat.
A water taxi can pick you up on the mainland at Balboa Yacht Club; book with us in advance please). 30 minutes.

+ By helicopter.
We can introduce you to a reputable helicopter company.

Once on the island, you can walk to Cerrito Tropical in about 10 minutes from the pier (we are on a hill), or we will have a local taxi-truck pick you up.

Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure, on busy days the ferries can be full, and there can be unforeseen delays on the city streets.

Located near Smithsonian Research Center Amador Causeway, 25 minutes from downtown and a $5-8 taxi fare.
This is NOT Muelle 18 as described in some guidebooks.
